HEALTH & SAFETY AT KMS SCAFFOLDING LTD
Striving To Minimise Risk On Every Single Scaffolding Job Undertaken
With health and safety at the forefront of our trading practices, all scaffolding erection and dismantling work is conducted with strict adherence to applicable legislative requirements. Accredited with CHAS and CITB schemes, our scaffolding in Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk is affordable, reliable and safe.
It is the policy of KMS Scaffolding Ltd to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all of our staff, clients and members of the public, ensuring any improvements are made as and when they arise. This is for any domestic scaffolding, commercial scaffolding, access scaffolding and temporary roofs.
As a scaffolding company, we pay particular attention to the protection of those not employed by ourselves and ensure to the best of our ability that they are not exposed to risks arising from our work practices. We insist that all scaffolds conform to the Construction (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1996 and all the current BS EN 12811-1 standards for Scaffolding, together with the use of TG20 and SG4:05 guidance notes.
Method Statements and Risk Assessments are produced as a statutory requirement for all scaffolds. All of our scaffolds are Inspected by a trained and competent member of staff before scaff tagged or a handover certificate is issued.
We also offer an on going scaffold inspection service if required. All scaffolders are fully qualified under the CITB scheme and regular toolbox talks are also given to ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
We continue to address all of our Health and Safety issues with an Independent Health and Safety officer.
